The 'Mad Men' actress admits, "I'm glad I didn't have kids," when discussing her failed marriage to the former 'SNL' star.
Actress Elisabeth Moss, mainly known for her role in CBS's 'Mad Men', has took part in a candid interview while featuring on the cover of New York Magazine.
The photo-spread shows a much more relaxed Moss then her 'Mad Men' fans are used to, as she poses topless in denim overalls while sharing a big smile.
But the interview doesn't cover any laughing matters, the 31 year-old opened up about her short-lived marriage to 'Saturday Night Live' alum Fred Armisen.
"Looking back, I feel like I was a really young, and at the time I didn't think that I was that young," Moss said in the mag's March 10th issue. "It was extremely traumatic and awful and horrible."
Moss and Armisen filed for divorce in September 2010, only a year after their wedding day which was October 25th 2009.
But now, the 'Get Him To The Greek' actress seems much happier, as she explained, "At the same time, it turned out for the best. I'm glad that I'm not there. I'm glad that it didn't happen when I was 50."
"I'm glad I didn't have kids. And I got that out of the way. Hopefully," she continued. "Like, that's probably not going to happen again."
However, the Golden Globe winner did find it extremely difficult when their separation attracted large amounts of media attention.
"I always knew that the stuff that you read is not true," she stated. "But when I was in the situation and you really, actually read things that you apparently said or did that are 100 percent made up"
"It's just the strange, simple thing of, that's your heart they're talking about, and it just...it sucks," Elisabeth added.
Although Moss did have a horrible experience with the tabloids, this still hasn't stopped her from reading them.
"I'm not perfect in that way," she admitted. "I enjoy a little gossip. I like looking at photos of celebrities going to Starbucks."
