Redmayne and his wife of nearly three years are expecting a second child together, a younger sibling for their 16 month old daughter Iris.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them actor Eddie Redmayne and his wife, Hannah Bagshawe, have confirmed that they’re expecting their second child together.
The couple, who have been married for nearly three years and who are already parents to a one year old daughter, Iris May, dropped a big hint on Wednesday (November 1st) when they appeared at a Sarabande Foundation event in east London – for a charity set up in memory of the late fashion designer Lee Alexander McQueen. As they arrived, Hannah was sporting a clearly visible baby bump.
“Eddie and Hannah Redmayne are delighted to confirm they are expecting their second child,” a source later told the Daily Mail.

The Theory of Everything star, 35, and PR executive Bagshawe, 34, tied the knot in a ceremony in December 2014, and welcomed their first daughter in June last year.

Speaking about how he’s taking to fatherhood this time last year in an interview with People magazine, Oscar-winner Redmayne said that his favourite part of the experience is when Iris wakes up.
“It’s in the morning. If Iris has managed to sleep through the night and then you hear a gentle squeak and you go in [her room] and turn on the light. The massive grin, that’s like: ‘It’s a whole new day.’ That’s probably the greatest thing.”
“Hilariously, she’s learned to shout,” Redmayne continued about his then-four-month-old daughter. “She doesn’t cry much, but she’s learned to shout.”
Redmayne’s next film appearance will be in the Nick Park animation Early Man, in post-production and with a release date in January 2018. He’s also currently filming the untitled sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, also due for release at the end of next year.
