The former 'Drake & Josh' star was pulled over by police in Glendale after being spotted driving erratically.
Former Nickelodeon actor and sometime musician Drake Bell was arrested earlier this week in California on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The Los Angeles Times reports that the 29 year old star was pulled up by police in Glendale in the small hours of Monday morning (December 21st) after he was observed stopping abruptly at a red light, before swerving and speeding at 55mph in a 35mph zone.

Glendale police officer Tahnee Lightfoot gave a statement the following day, saying that the officer who flagged him down noticed the smell of alcohol coming from the vehicle, after which Bell is said to have failed a breathalyser test, according to TMZ who later released his mug-shot on Twitter.
Bell was later released on a $20,000 bail after being detained for 10 hours. Police will present their case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office when authorities have concluded their investigation.

He originally got a break as a child star on the TV show ‘Home Improvement’ back in 1994, and has appeared in a number of movies since then, ranging from Jerry Maguire and High Fidelity to Lego Marvel Super Heroes. He was last seen in 2015’s L.A. Slasher.
As a sideline, Bell has also enjoyed an on/off musical career. Having released two albums in as many years in the mid-noughties, he released a third album in 2014 called Ready, Steady Go!, the launch party for which was famously gatecrashed by Justin Bieber and led to an entertaining Twitter feud between the pair.
