We Are Science is the home of Dot Allison's latest track Strung Out due for release on the 5th of August. The track is actually a couple of years old and features drummer Jeff Ament from Mercury Rev. It has been said that this track is Dot at her "most upbeat". The entire album "We Are Science" takes Dot back to her roots using electronic samples and creating electronic music Strung out is no exception. Despite the overly "girly" song titles don't be disheartened Strung Out is something more than a song for the love sick girl, Dave Fridmann and Dot Allison have produced a great slice of diverse electro pop.
