Donnie Wahlberg won't let Jenny McCarthy go to the bathroom without him.

The New Kids On The Block star and his 41-year-old wife - who married last August after 13 months together - rarely spend time away from one another and say the longest they have been apart is just seven hours.

Jenny said: ''We're actually hurting inside because we're going to be away from each other for seven hours. It's true.''

Donnie added to E! News: ''That may be the longest we've been apart since we've been together.

''I can't even let her go to the bathroom without me. It's very bizarre and awesome.''

The blonde beauty - who has a 12-year-old son, Evan, with ex-husband John Mallory Asher - took time out of her happy relationship to advise single people looking for love not to rush into finding a partner.

She said: ''Relax, don't worry about finding the one so quickly. It's going to take a little while but you will single out the love of your life twenty years from now.''

The former 'View' presenter recently admitted she thinks Donnie, 45, brings out ''the best'' in her.

She said: ''Every night when we go to bed and I climb in bed and I see him laying there, I go, 'The feeling I get crawling in bed with you every night is like when I was little and my mum used to say your best friend can sleep over tonight.'

''He definitely brings out the best in me, and I think I do the same for him.''
