Rihanna has thanked her designer friends for their early Christmas presents.

The 'Diamonds' singer received a truck load of gifts from everyone from Donatella Versace, Sarah Burton and Miuccia Prada to Rodarte sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy.

The 25-year-old trend-setter posted a series of photographs on her Instagram showing off her presents, including a pink clutch from Stella McCartney with a hand-written gift tag which read: ''To Rihanna Love Stella.''

Donatella also wrote a note which said: ''Dear Rihanna here is a handbag from my new Spring Collection. Hope you enjoy. XO Donatella'', to which the singer then replied: ''Major baby! Thank u.''

A large box from team Prada contained ''Some FW13 Prada and Miu Miu love for the cutest girl who will wear them like no other'', with items including shoes, round sunglasses and a blue and chequered Prada bowling bag.

Rihanna wrote on her account: ''Christmas!! Thank you Miuccia and your wonderful team.''

The Rodarte sisters sent a custom made beaded bustier outfit for the star and wrote a letter saying: ''We are such huge fans we hope you like this special outfit we made you'', and Rihanna gushed: ''Love you more.''
