Review of FABRICLIVE 63 Album by Digital Soundboy System
The new 'FABRICLIVE 63' features some choice cuts from the Digital Soundboy label. This is as contemporary as it gets with the sounds of drum & bass and dubstep as the core of the mix and with brilliant tracks from Skream and Breakage bringing quality originality to the album, but with many other awesome innovative artists contributing also. There's 49 tracks altogether; seamlessly mixed together and certainly leading the way in progressive music. It shows real character and class to start the mix with Nina Simone 'Funkier Than A Mosquito Tweeter' and go through a journey of funk, soul and the industrial sounds of the streets.
Original Digital Soundboy Shy FX should be proud of this contribution to the FABRICLIVE series. Certainly, this is awesome display of DJ mixing that shows grit as well as sophistication. It would be hard for many not to see the power of this offering, revealing modern music as leading the way. It's all about the dancefloor and the vigour of this mix isn't for the faint hearted but definitely for the conscious thinkers. There's an energy of Digital Soundboy System that can't be denied and is certainly relevant to the youth of today. FABRICLIVE 63 continues to lead the way in quality mixes!
