After a decade away ‘Will and Grace’ returned to our screens on Monday night, for a special 10 minute mini-episode which aired before Hillary Clinton took on Donald Trump in the first presidential TV debate. The special episode was designed to encourage fans to vote in the upcoming election and saw undecided voter Jack hear the arguments for both Clinton and Trump (spoiler he’s voting Hillary).

The episode began with Will (Eric Mccormack) telling Grace (Debra Messing) he couldn't believe Trump was running in the upcoming election and vowing he would never speak to a Trump supporter. Then enters Karen (Megan Mullally) carrying a ‘vote Trump’ handbag and two American flags.

“Donny is one of my oldest friends,” she tells Will and Grace. “I helped him pick out Melania.” Karen then goes on to explain that she’s built a wall to keep maid Rosario “out of the main part of the house.”

Next in is Jack (Sean Hayes), who is currently more concerned with Brangelina’s split than the election, but later reveals he’s an undecided voter, registered in swing state Pennsylvanian.

Jack’s pal Karen then tells him: ”Honey, if you don't vote for Trumpy, there will be wars and monsoons and locusts and hordes of brown people pouring over our borders from every direction. I mean, it's one thing if you're sitting in the audience at 'Hamilton,' but do you really want to see those people everywhere?”

But after hearing the arguments for Hillary from Grace, Jack eventually decides he’s with her (even though he hates the fact she wears pants) but only after discovering that Katy Perry is a Clinton supporter.

‘Will and Grace’ ran for eight seasons on NBC from 1998 to 2006. The show is remembered as one of the most successful primetime series to feature gay principal characters.
