David Gandy's ''greatest love'' is driving.

The 35-year-old hunk is well known in the fashion world as an underwear model, but revealed his passion for cars outweighs that of his day job, and as a result tries to go for a drive every day.

He said: ''In spite of the fact that I work in fashion, and have done so for many years, driving is still my greatest love. No matter what I'm doing, I always try to ensure that there is some driving involved in my daily routine.''

The handsome star - who is currently dating The Saturdays member Mollie King - continued to explain his passion for being on the road was with him from a young age, and helps him to get away from the stresses of his life.

Speaking to The Telegraph newspaper's Ultratravel magazine, he continued: It's something I've loved since I was a boy. I was brought up doing family road trips and so was desperate to pass my test. When I did, at the age of 17, it was an incredible feeling. I can still remember my first drive alone - I knew I'd discovered something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. To me, driving is about complete escapism. It's just you and the car against the elements.''
