David Beckham invited his son Cruz's soccer teammates' fathers on his private jet to travel to their kids' under-10s tournament in western Germany.
David Beckham flew his fellow soccer dads to Germany on a private jet.
The retired soccer star reportedly saved his ten-year-old son Cruz's teammates' fathers from having to travel via commercial flights by inviting them on his private Learjet and taking them to an airfield in western Germany before making the short trip to the under-10s tournament in Verl.
A source shared: ''David realised the location of the tournament was a bit tricky to get to and was happy to invite the dads.''
Cruz - who plays for the Arsenal Academy team - was playing against other junior teams from Europe including AC Milan.
Among those invited to travel with David - who played for England, Manchester United and Real Madrid during his successful career - and his father Ted, 66, were professional snooker player Alfie Burden, whose son plays alongside Cruz.
Another dad, who missed out on the trip, told The Sun newspaper: ''The boys' team had set off earlier and David's offer was totally unexpected.
''They couldn't believe their luck. They said he was a brilliant host and came across as a great bloke. It was a day they'll never forget.''
Beckham - who also has sons Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 12, and three-year-old daughter Harper with wife Victoria - cheered Cruz on from the sidelines and later took to his Twitter account to praise the talented young star.
He wrote: ''The boys did us parents proud.''
Cruz's brothers Romeo and Beckham are also enrolled at Arsenal's Hale End academy and David is a regular at all of the boys' fixtures.
