The Rizzle Kicks boys Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule were thrilled when David Beckham told them he was a fan of their music.
David Beckham is a fan of Rizzle Kicks.
The pop group- comprised of Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule - were ecstatic after the retired soccer star stopped them at a party and admitted to them that he can't help but bop his head to their catchy tracks and is a supporter of their work.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Jordan said: ''David Beckham is really nice, a really lovely guy. We met him at a boxer brief launch. He was nice; he said he listens to our music. We said, 'We're Rizzle Kicks' and he said, 'Yeah yeah, I know you boys'. I was like, 'Cheers David.' ''
The rap duo have had a string of hit singles, including, 'Mama Do The Hump, 'When I was Youngster' and 'Down With The Trumpets', since exploding on the music scene in 2011, but the Brighton-born pair are adamant they won't ditch the UK for the US just yet.
Jordan explained: ''I don't want to live in America. It's very different from London.''
Despite refusing to set up home across the water, the cheeky boys haven't ruled out broadening horizons, but claim they're not obsessed with cracking the US as they have a vast amount of opportunities to pursue here first.
Jordan explained: ''I don't know, I just feel like we'd need to make a huge imprint here and follow it over to America. I would love to be big in American but it's just a lot of time and effort. It's not necessity for us to break America.''
