Fact: French dance music superstars Daft Punk headed to the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday (26May13) to witness the debut of their own Formula One racing car. The duo's logo featured on Lotus F1 Team vehicles, but it did not appear to give the Lotus drivers a boost - Kimi Raikkonen finished in 10th, while his teammate Romain Grosjean retired from the race.

Fact: Kings Of Leon and Daft Punk are the latest stars to contribute to the Crafts For A Cause charity auction in aid of earthquake-ravaged Haiti. The two acts have both donated customised artwork for the sale, while Norah Jones, superproducer Mark Ronson and film director Spike Jonze have also contributed. The auction goes online on 15 March (10) at BiddingForGood.com and proceeds go to the Artists for Peace and Justice campaign.
Fact: French electro-pop duo Daft Punk will make a cameo in Disney's Tron remake. The act is providing the soundtrack for the film, which is set for release at the end of next year (10).
