I'm a fan of Corrine Bailey Rae and her self titled debut album, released 27th February, is one I still listen to regularly for its smooth and soulful vibe. The mellow smoothness is at its most evident on 'Trouble Sleeping', her current single, as she tries to reject the overwhelming feeling and impending ups and downs that come with falling in love.
On the self produced track she quirkily confesses: Tell me I don't see myself/Couldn't I blame something else/Don't say I'm falling in love. Arguably the best song on an adventurously safe but good album…
The single is released on May 29th.
