Chris Moyles has slammed his former colleague Nick Grimshaw during his first Radio X show.
Chris Moyles criticised Nick Grimshaw on his return to breakfast radio.
The former BBC Radio 1 DJ has joined Global Radio's X station on the morning show and couldn't resist having a dig at his old replacement and rival.
When the deejay's first guest Noel Gallagher revealed his kids like to listen to Nick's show, Chris replied: ''Why would you do that to them?''
After the show Chris took another swing at the 'The X Factor' judge who took over from him on Radio 1 in 2012.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper he said: ''The kids listen to the Radio 1 pop pop and the adults can listen to the real stuff.''
And a disappointed Chris, 41, revealed he was expecting his old pal to wish him luck on his first day back on radio.
He said: ''I didn't hear from him today actually. I would have put money on the fact I would have got a text from him but I didn't.
''Greg James sent me a nice text yesterday saying, 'Good luck, it's great to have you back.'''
Meanwhile, Chris rebuked claims his show is for men aged 25 to 44 years old and even played 'Love Machine' by Girls Aloud as his first song to prove it.
He told The Sun newspaper: ''My show is 50/50. It should never have been said. So I had to say, 'Ignore it. Please ignore it. Everyone is welcome.' Girls are all allowed.''
