The Charlatans' much rumoured secret set at the Glastonbury Festival happened today (26.06.15) when the indie rockers opened The Other Stage at the music event.

The indie rockers have been teasing fans all week with a series of cryptic posts on Twitter hinting they would be performing a secret set at the world famous music festival on Worthy Farm in Somerset, South West England.
The set happened this morning when they took to the stage at around 11:00am with frontman Tim Burgess taking to the stage as he shouted ''surprise surprise''.
The Britpop band thrilled the thousands of fans who had gather to watch them with a selection of their biggest hits, including 'Just When You're Thinkin' Things Over', 'North Country Boy' and 'How High'.
Burgess took to Twitter to reveal his delight at how many people cam to see them and make the gig so special.
Accompanied by a photo of the crowd, he tweeted: ''So sweet xx (sic)''
He also posted: ''Thank you Glastonbury.''
