Fact: Rock legend Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band delighted fans in New Jersey on Tuesday night (22Aug16) by performing a hits-packed 35-song set which lasted for three hours and 52 minutes. The epic show is reportedly their longest U.S. gig to date, according to fan website Backstreets.com. They played their longest ever concert in Helsinki, Finland, in 2012, when they rocked out for four hours and six minutes.

Fact: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band paid tribute to David Bowie during the opening night of their River Tour in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Saturday (16Jan16). Springsteen introduced his cover of Bowie's 1974 hit Rebel Rebel by telling the crowd that he thanked the musical icon for his support "back in the early days". Bowie died after an 18-month battle with cancer on 10 January (16), just two days after he released his last album Blackstar.

The Boss appeared onstage to perform with a variety of local acts intermittently throughout the night until the concert finished at 2am. Profits from the benefit go towards the Light of Day Foundation, a charity for those suffering from Parkinson's disease.
