Denise Richards is suing contractors who she claims damaged her home.
The 'Starship Troopers' actress alleges the handymen she hired to renovate her Los Angeles mansion ''botched'' her air conditioning system - among other things - which has left her and her kids in sweltering temperatures reaching up to 90 degrees.
The 42-year-old beauty - who lives in the spacious home with her three children, Sam, nine, Lola, eight, and two-year-old adopted daughter Eloise, as well as ex-husband Charlie Sheen's four-year-old twins with Brooke Mueller, Max and Bob, who she currently has custody of - is in a hot bother over the damaged air conditioning unit, as well as a string of other issues including faulty electrical wiring and damage to her roof.
According to TMZ, Denise believes the contractors have even demolished parts of her home they weren't hired to work on in order to bill her even more, and claims they have already blown through their budget, with the renovations costing $3 million instead of the estimated $1.6 million she expected.
As a result of the mishaps, the actress and her children are forced to live in scorching temperatures because there's no ventilation, and she also complains of unpleasant sewer gases wafting through her attic.
The 'Wild Things' star is now seeking a cool pay day of over $1 million in damages.
