Fact: Broken Social Scene star Brendan Canning has been commissioned to create the score for Lindsay Lohan's new movie The Canyons. The film, which also features porn star James Deen, has been written by Bret Easton Ellis. Canning is not new to film music work - he scored the movies The Tracey Fragments and Trigger, while his band created the music for the films Half Nelson, Snow Cake and It's Kind of a Funny Story.
