Experimental hip-hop group Death Grips have surprised fans by releasing a new album with eccentric Icelandic singer Bjork.
The band unveiled the project, titled n**gas on the moon, on its Facebook.com page on Sunday (08Jun14). The eight-track record is the first half of a double Lp, titled the powers that b, which will hit retailers later this year (14).
Bjork shared the news with fans on her Facebook page on Monday (09Jun14), admitting she was delighted to work with the group.
She wrote, "I am proud to announce my vocals landed on the new Death Grips album! I adore Death Grips...! I have been lucky enough to hang and exchange music loves w/ (with) them and witness them grow !! epic : onwards!!".
The unlikely collaborators previously teamed up to remix two tracks from Bjork's 2012 album Biophilia.
