Beady Eye are still set to take to the stage at V Festival later this month despite guitarist Gem Archer being hospitalised last week, and event organisers are assuming they will perform until they ''hear otherwise''.
Beady Eye are still expected to play V Festival following Gem Archer's head injury.
The Liam Gallagher-fronted band's guitarist was rushed to hospital last Thursday (01.08.13) following an accident which left him with severe head trauma and although they were forced to cancel shows in Belgium and Japan this week, festival organisers still expect them to play at the event later this month.
A spokesman for V Festival told NME: ''Unless they hear otherwise they're still playing.''
The rockers' performances at the event - held at two sites in Staffordshire and Chelmsford on August 17 and 18 - may still be under threat, however, depending on Gem's recovery.
In a statement released yesterday (06.08.13), the group said: ''Following an accident on the evening of Thursday August 1, Beady Eye guitarist Gem Archer was hospitalised with severe head trauma.
''He is currently in a stable condition but continues to stay in hospital under supervision. As previously reported, shows this week in Belgium and Japan have been cancelled.
''His family, friends and bandmates thank everyone who have sent messages of support and well wishes so far and hope to see him back on his feet soon. An update on his condition will follow.''
