Alyssa Milano is ''actively trying'' for another baby.

The 41-year-old actress gave birth to son Milo in August 2011, but she and husband David Bugliari are keen to give the tot a little brother or sister sooner rather than later.

Speaking to Access Hollywood Live, she said: ''We are actively trying.''

She added jokingly: ''[David's] just chugging down ginseng [a herbal remedy believed to increase sex drive and improve erectile function in men].''

However, the 'Mistresses' star recently admitted she was finding it hard shedding the baby weight from her first pregnancy and still wanted to lose another 10 pounds.

She said earlier this week: ''I gained 55 pounds when I was pregnant, I still have 10 more to lose.''

Meanwhile, the brunette beauty - who shot to fame on 'Who's the Boss' when she was 11 years old - was forced to defend her figure last month after being insulted by 'Suburgatory' star Jay Mohr during a radio interview.

He said: ''It seems like she had a baby and said, 'I don't really give a s**t'.... I read it on her gut.''

Alyssa challenged him on Twitter after hearing the rude remarks on Christmas Day (25.12.13), before accepting his apology last week.
