British designer Alice Temperley was joined by Pixie Lott, Jodie Kidd and Lara Bohinc to celebrate her collaboration with Gordon's gin.
Alice Temperley has launched her 'Ten Green Bottles' designs for Gordon's gin.
The British fashion designer celebrated her collaboration with popular gin brand by displaying the limited edition bottles at her Mayfair flagship store last night (06.11.13), amongst an array of celebrity guests and elaborate gin cocktails.
Each of the intricate label designs for the iconic Gordon's bottle were displayed in suspended stained glass windows - co-designed by Alice's old family friend, glass artist, John Reyntiens - and included a signature element or motif inspired by Alice's personal collection of vintage clothing, jewellery, and her British heritage.
She said: ''It's been great to work with Gordon's. Having grown up on a Cider Farm in Somerset, I have a great fondness for the industry and this project has allowed me to combine two of my passions by introducing pattern and design - My training was in print and textiles and this was an exciting opportunity to re-visualise my prints on this iconic green bottle.''
She added: ''The prints draw on personal inspirations, from a 1920s embroidered shawl I discovered in my family archive, to my vintage jewellery collection and the striking colours of the countryside. I love the final result and how they all complement each other. I hope that fellow gin lovers around the country will agree that this is a collection to brighten up their drinks cabinet.''
Alice was joined at the stylish event by models Jade Parfitt, Jodie Kidd and Laura Bailey, along with fellow designer Lara Bohinc, presenter Lilah Parsons and singer Pixie Lott, to celebrate the designer's collaboration with the popular brand.
Pixie exclusively told BANG Showbiz: ''It's an amazing event. She's a stunning designer, classic. I'm wearing her right now!''
Meanwhile, model Laura Bailey expressed her gratitude via Twitter, writing: ''Thank you @TemperleyLondon for a white lace jumpsuit, gin cocktails and other adventures.''
Only one million of the special bottles have been produced and will be available in all major retailers over the Christmas period.
