Zac Efron doesn't ''object'' to sex on the first date.

The 26-year-old hunk doesn't have a rule when it comes to getting intimate with a girl he's just met because he thinks lovemaking is a natural thing to do.

He said with a laugh: ''Sex is a beautiful thing. I don't object.''

He added: ''I think every single girl has something different and special about her. You find one who clicks with your vibe. Fate brings people together.''

However, the 'Lucky One' star admits he gets struck with nerves when he realises he's starting to fall for someone, which can often lead to an ''awkward'' smooch.

He explained: ''The awkward thing for me is when the realisation happens that I actually might like this girl. Then I become awkward.''

Zac - who dated Lily Collins in 2012 but split up after three months - believes honesty is the best policy when it comes to relationships.

Speaking to Glamour magazine, he said: ''I think the most important thing for me in a relationship is honesty. In the beginning, sometimes girls don't show their genuine personality ... Just be honest and up-front. I think that's the hardest.''
