The 44-year-old actor only had pleasant words to say about his time dating the 'Friends' alum, but he did admit the media attention strained their relationship.
Back in 2006, almost one year after Jennifer Aniston went through a very public divorce with Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn began dating the 'Friends' alum and they soon became one of Hollywood's most talking about new couples.
Vaughn says Aniston was "great" when they dated in 2006
While speaking with Playboy magazine almost one decade later, the 44-year-old actor only had pleasant words to say about Aniston, whom he dated for over a year, but he also recalled the hardest part about being intimate with a fellow A-Lister.
"You know, she's great," he told the mag. "For me personally - and I think most well-known actors who are together feel this way - I never enjoyed the paparazzi side of it. You like someone and you're spending time with them; that's separate and that was all fine. But I really spent most of that time finding ways not to be drawn into the attention."

Vaughn has now been happily married to Kyla Weber, with whom he shares two children, since 2010. But becoming a husband and father didn't happen overnight for the 'Internship' actor.
"I waited until I was a little older, and I'm glad. I just hadn't matured in that area," he explained. "A lot of people think, 'Oh, I've got to focus on my career.' And then you wake up and go, 'Oh goodness, I forgot about the rest of my life.' Marriage is terrific, but it's the hardest thing I think you'll ever do. You have to really work at it and want it."
Although Vaughn may have tied the knot at a later age than usual, he waited until the prospect of marriage seemed "exciting."

"I wanted kids and a family, but I wouldn't have at 30," he said. "You know how it is. You've been making decisions about what you're going to do on your own. Suddenly you're making those decisions with somebody else. It's a much different journey."
