The comic actor and his wife are now parents to a daughter and a son following the birth of a baby boy named Vernon Lindsay Vaughn
Vince Vaughn and his wife Kyla Weber welcomed a very special arrival earlier this week; a baby boy named Vernon Lindsay Vaughn. The baby joined the Vaughn clan on Wednesday (7 August) - a source for People confirmed - as the Vaughns get to re-live all the wonders of being a parent once again. Congratulations to the both of you!
Vaughn is a father for the second time
The 43-year-old Wedding Crashers star and his realtor wife welcomed the latest edition to their brood at an undisclosed Los Angeles hospital on Wednesday, with a rep for the actor confirming the news later in the week. The new baby boy was named after Vaughn's father, Vernon, but we're still not 100% sure what the Lindsay is in reference to, if anything. The little one was born at the healthy weight of 8 lbs., 4 oz. and measures at 21 inches in length.
Kyla Weber takes new sister Locklyn for a stroll
The actor had remained tight-lipped about his wife's pregnancy and only revealed that they were expecting their second child during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres on 26 April. He said at the time, "this is the first time I've said anything. We're very excited." Vaughn and Weber wed back in January 2010, giving birth to their first child, 2-year-old Locklyn Kyla, a year later.
Vaughn will be getting into more baby-shaped shenanigans later this year when he stars in the film The Delivery Man about a single, middle-aged slacker who discovers that through his many sperm donations over the years, he has fathered over 530 children. The film will be out this fall.
