Actor Viggo Mortensen is preparing to step behind the camera to focus on his directorial debut.
The Lord of the Rings star has worked with some of Hollywood's leading filmmakers including David Cronenberg and Peter Jackson, and hopes to make his first film next year (14).
He tells the Telegraph Men's Style magazine, "I would like to try it. I like photography, and I like actors, and I like the process, the collaborative aspect of it."
Mortensen also tells the publication he is in talks to launch a photography exhibition in Spain of images he snapped while in Argentina shooting his crime drama Everybody Has a Plan.
