Victoria Beckham has hit the headlines again after artist Daphne Guinness reportedly labelled her an "ugly pig".
Victoria Beckham, the former 'Spice Girl' turned fashion-designer, was reportedly called "an ugly pig" as well as "miserable and awful" by the British artist Daphne Guinness.An article in the UK's Sunday Times Magazine had quoted Guinness making the comments about Beckham, but the 43-year-old claims she was 'stitched up' by a journalist. Times writer Camilla Long quotes Daphe as saying Beckham was "Downbeat, miserable and awful", adding, "Of course she's going to make money - she's backed by Simon Fuller. I don't have anyone! She annoys the shit out of me". However, since the article was printed, Guinness has taken to her Twitter page to tell followers, "For the record I not only admire Victoria Beckham but know her and like her". She later said, "I am so sad stitched up by the Sunday Times. I thought c. long was a friend. I would never call anyone an ugly cow, not my words". Guinness went even further, saying, "I feel like killing myself, I have been stabbed in the back by that journalist".
Victoria Beckham is now considered to be a prominent designer in the world of fashion and she recently premiered her new collection at New York Fashion Week to almost universal acclaim.
