A Man Accused Of Trespassing On U2 Drummer Larry Mullen, Jr.'S Property In Dublin, Ireland Last Year (14) Has Been Found Guilty Of The Charge.
Gerard O'Neill was arrested in October (14) and accused of entering the plush pad while carrying a gold club after a break-in.
He appeared in Dublin District Court on Friday (08May15) to answer to counts of trespassing, resisting arrest and production of a golf club as a weapon capable of causing injury, and was found guilty of each charge.
He also faced a fourth accusation of threatening to kill or harm Gardai (police) after reportedly telling officers he would bite them and infect them "with HIV".
Judge Ann Ryan deferred a ruling on the threat to kill or harm charge for legal submissions, and adjourned sentencing on the others until a later date.
O'Neill, 32, was remanded in custody due to a string of prior convictions, one of which carried a suspended sentence.
