The 30 Rock star was travelling back to his home in New Jersey last June (14) following a show at the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino in Delaware when his limousine was struck by a Wal-Mart truck.

The crash killed his friend, fellow funnyman James 'Jimmy MACk' MCNair, and left the star in a critical condition, but he has since made a good recovery from his injuries, which included head trauma and a broken leg.

Morgan made his first TV appearance since the accident on America's Today show on Monday (01Jun15), and he revealed his fiancee Megan and their baby girl were due to be in the car that night, but he suggested they stay home because of teething troubles.

He says, "I told Megan, 'You and the baby stay home and I'll go to Delaware and I'll be right back'... Because I know when I look at that accident... My daughter was 10 months old - she wouldn't have made it and Megan wouldn't have made it... That's the thing that tears me up."
