As Tracy Morgan remains hospitalized, in critical condition, after being involved in a car crash this past weekend, production for a planned FXX comedy has been postponed until he makes a full recovery.

The 45 year-old is still receiving treatment for injuries he sustained from the six-car pileup on the New Jersey Turnpike, which occurred early Saturday morning (June 7th).

Morgan, who was travelling in a limo bus when a Walmart tuck crashed into it, sustained a broken nose, broken ribs, and underwent surgery to repair a broken femur on Sunday (June 8th). The '30 Rock' star is expected not to be released for the next several weeks.

In April FFX ordered 10 episodes of a new untitled comedy that stars Morgan, and even though he is still in a very bad way, FX Networks and FX Productions stated on Tuesday (June 10th) that the show "will be waiting for him."

"The only thing we are concerned with is the health and recovery of Tracy Morgan and the victims of this tragic accident," the statement rad, via The Hollywood Reporter.

"We will support Tracy and his family in every way possible throughout his recovery," it continued. "At the point when Tracy has recovered and decides that he is ready to go back to work, his show will be waiting for him. Right now our thoughts and prayers remain with Tracy, the other victims of the accident, and their families."

Kevin Roper, 35, of Jonesboro, who was driving the 18-wheel truck, has been charged with one count of death by auto and four counts of assault, but is currently free on $50,000 bail. He reportedly caused the accident by driving his truck ''without having slept for a period in excess of 24 hours."

Morgan's mentor, 63-year-old James McNair of Peekshill, New York, was killed as a result of the crash.
