Adele is already universally known to be a great singer but now it has been revealed that the 'Somebody Like You' star can also rap with the best of them.

The British recording artist almost ended up collaborating with fellow countryman, Tinie Tempah, on his new album 'Demonstration', but not in the style her fans are used to.

The 23 year old hip-hop star let it slip on his 'Alan Carr: Chatty Man' appearance this week that Adele is a multi-talented vocal artist.

When discussing his upcoming album, Tempah unveiled, "Adele helped me pick some of the songs for the album. She has a rap. She was with me and Labrinth in the studio when he recorded Earthquake."

He continued, "Nobody really knows this. She recorded a rap and she told us that if we ever played it to anyone she would sue us." "So when you talk to her next, ask her about the rap. It is really filthy as well."

This will be Tinie's first studio set since his 2010 debut album ,'Disc-Overy', and the nearly four year wait is well worth it as 'Demonstation' features some of the world's most talented recording artists.

There are collaborations with 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Emeli Sande, Dizzee Rascal, Laura Mvula and Paloma Faith.

The 'Trampoline' rapper also told the talk show host, Alan Carr, that it took a great deal of effort to feature these artists on his record, "to get those people together took ages. I had to ring them myself to get them on the record," he said.

"You really do. You swoon them and take them for dinner and you drop it on them lightly."

'Demonstration' was released on November 1st 2013.
