The Who's former tour manager has avoided a jail sentence for an $82,500 (£55,000) welfare fraud - on condition he pays back the cash within a week.
John 'Wiggy' Wolff, who managed gigs for the rockers in the 1970s and '80s, pleaded guilty to wrongly claiming the money in state benefits between 2002 and 2008.
A court in Reading, England heard Wolff had not used the money to fund a lavish lifestyle, but had hoarded it in his bank account.
A judge gave Wolff a suspended prison sentence and ordered him to repay the money within seven days.
