What a poignant track taken from an album that is a true piece of history.

The lyrics in this track pay testimony to the evidently great times this quartet had together, but as they also reflect what all Libs fans are thinking, “what became of forever …we’ll never know”.

This is, as usual for The Libertines, a brilliant track. It starts off small and builds in to a catchy, anthemic number that has gone down as the highlight of Libertines’ live performances.

Incredible drumming, a subtle but unmistakable riff and truly heartfelt lyrics, it’s got to be these guys and what a beautifully fitting end to a rollercoaster of a chapter for them.
