Taylor Swift 's been talking about it, and now the star has given a track from the 'Hunger Games' soundtrack its live debut, after it was reported that she performed 'Eyes Open' at a gig in New Zealand. Swift was midway through a rapturously received show in the Southern Hemisphere, reports The Wall Street Journal, when she offered up an intimate rendition of the track that features on the hugely hyped fantasy film; she asked before playing "You don't think I would get in trouble if I played it now?"
Swift's most publicized song on the soundtrack has actually been lead-off single 'Safe & Sound,' recorded with her pals Civil Wars, and she told Rolling Stone of the collaboration "The Civil Wars had a show that night in L.A.," Swift says. "So they raced right over to T Bone's house. There's so many things he could've done production-wise to make that song bigger sonically than it is, but I think that would have possibly been a mistake. For him to have left the song as a lullaby is brilliant."
