Snoop Dogg appears to believe that Game Of Thrones, the fictional HBO show that has DRAGONS in it, is based on real life. The rapper is a devoted fan of the show and has contributed to the show's season five mix-tape with the track Lannister's Anthem.

Game of ThronesGame of Thrones has dragons in it. Snoop Dogg thinks Game of Thrones is historically accurate.

However, in an interview with the New York Post, Snoop revealed that he watches the show for historical reasons.

"When they asked me to do the track, I was more than honored because I'm truly a fan of the show," he said, "I would have done it for free, but they gave me some money on top of it, so I was like, "F?-?-?k it, let's do it!" I watch it for historic reasons, to try to understand what this world was based on before I got here. I like to know how we got from there, to here, and the similarities between then and now."

When the bemused journalist asked Snoop what parallels he drew between the fictional show and the modern world, the rapper replied: "That kings still rule and a bitch f?-?-?ked everything up, in every situation!"

Still, Snoop's remarks might not be that outrageous considering Thrones creator George R.R Martin based some of the show's plot on real life.

"The Red Wedding [an event from the third novel, A Storm of Swords] is based on a couple real events from Scottish history," he told Entertainment Weekly.

"No matter how much I make up, there's stuff in history that's just as bad, or worse."
