Pop star Sia Furler looks set to dominate the upcoming Independent Music Awards in her native Australia after landing a slew of top nominations.

The singer/songwriter has scooped nods for her record 1000 Forms Of Fear, which is nominated in the Best Independent Album category, and her huge chart hit Chandelier, which is in the running for Best Independent Single.

Sia is also set to compete for the Best Independent Artist trophy at the ceremony in Melbourne next month (Oct14).

Violent Soho and the John Butler Trio are among the other artists who have landed nods ahead of the 8 October (14) prizegiving.
