Shia LaBeouf's Representatives Are Playing Down The Onset Stunt That Went Wrong And Landed The Actor In Hospital On Wednesday Morning (24jun15), Insisting His Injuries Were "Minimal".
Sources tell TMZ.com the movie star received 20 stitches and 13 staples to his head and finger after putting his head through a glass window pane while filming a scene for his new movie, American Honey, in North Dakota.
The actor was reportedly attended to at a nearby hospital and sent home, ready to return to the set to resume filming on Thursday (25Jun15).
And now one of his reps tells GossipCop.com the story has been blown out of proportion, stating, "As protocol, production sought out medical attention."
LaBeouf has yet to comment on the accident.
