LeBeouf just can't help peeling his expensive clothes off.
Celebrities tend to think it’s okay to take naked pictures of themselves and put them on the Internet. The thought process is a difficult one to fathom, but enough of them do it do suggest that the vast majority are idiots, attention seekers or quasi prostitutes with no self worth.
Shia LaBeouf in Charlie Countryman
Often, they’re all three.
Which brings us on to Shia LaBeouf, who, without explicitly coming out and saying ‘I want to be known as a sexy, unhinged actor with a prodigious talent’, has attempted to garner that reputation on numerous occasions, all with the same devastatingly embarrassing effects.
Now, in what can only be described as a 'naked selfie', he's taken a picture of himself starkers and uploaded it to the Internet for everyone to see. Can’t he see that everyone loves Fassbender? Imagine what Fassbender thinks when he sees Shia LaBeouf. Must feel good.
Mads Mikkelsen and Evan Rachel Wood are part of an impressive cast
He just loves getting naked. His sex scenes in Lars Von Trier’s Nymphomaniac have become infamous, and the film isn’t out yet.
In Charlie Countryman, the thriller that sees LaBeouf’s character travel to Romania after the death of his mother, only to fall love with a dangerous woman and face the wrath of her even more dangerous ex-husband, he strips off again. And, in Sigur Ros’s video for “Fjögur Píanó”, LeBeouf was naked, again.
The former Disney star has started preparing for roles in an annoying way, too. He took LSD to get into the right place for Charlie Countryman, but one gets the feeling he wanted everyone to know about it.
"There's a way to do an acid trip like Harold & Kumar, and there's a way to be on acid," LaBeouf told USA Today back in 2012. "What I know of acting, Sean Penn actually strapped up to that [electric] chair in Dead Man Walking. Those are the guys that I look up to."
