Shakira's baby son is ''reaching new milestones every day.''

The 'She Wolf' hitmaker has been enjoying watching nine-month-old Sasha, whom she has with her boyfriend Gerard Pique, adapt to life outside the womb and develop his own little personal traits with each day that passes by.

Speaking to 'Entertainment Tonight', she said: ''He's reaching new milestones every day. He's so delicious right now. He's edible, completely edible.''

The Colombian singer also had nothing but kind words to say about her beau Gerard - who she refers to as her ''baby daddy'' - as she praised him on his hands-on approach.

The 38-year-old star said of the Spanish soccer star: ''He's the kind of father who changes diapers and gives bottles and all of that, which is great. He's awesome.''

The couple, who have been dating since 2010, also have two-year-old son Milan together but Shakira has admitted she can't help but question her ability to be a good parent.

She said previously: ''I'm one of those tiger moms, who is all the time looking for help and information online and researching and reading. It's not easy to be a mother.

''It's one of the most difficult things I've done in my life. I've been on the most challenging stages performing in front of really demanding audiences and I've been meeting with world leaders who sometimes make you a little bit apprehensive, but nothing has made me so self-conscious as being a mom.

''Every day I wonder if I'm doing the right thing. I just want to improve in the job, the hardest job on earth.''
