Everything has been coming up roses for Johansson recently.
Scarlett Johansson is pregnant, which means that the numerous baby bump headlines will be inescapable over the next few months. We’re not even trying to resist, since she keeps looking so fabulous, even with the newly emerging figure of someone carrying a future human.
Scarlett Johansson has been in the spotlight a lot recently.
E! News reported on Johansson’s newly emerging baby bump, but it was difficult to even notice during her appearance at the Captain America premiere this Thursday. ScarJo was wearing a strategically planned lacey outfit, featuring more ruffles than a middle-schooler’s wardrobe. If anyone can make ruffles work though, it’s her. Plus, accessorizing the outfit with a giant diamond was smart. Not only is it a stunning reminder of Johansson’s recent engagement to French journalist Romain Dauriac, it looks like it could be useful in a tight spot. You know, if ScarJo needed to temporarily blind a group of paparazzi or something.
If not for her films, then for her engagement/pregnancy news.
Aside from her eventful personal life, Johansson has a busy year ahead. She’s currently doing press rounds for Captain America: The Winter Soldier – out in the UK on the 28th and in the US on April 4th. She also attended SXSW last week to promote the Jon Favreau comedy Chef, which sees her co-star as the love interest for Favreau’s character.
"She's one of my favorite people because she's smart, she's talented and she's really down to earth and a hard worker," the director said at the time for E! News. "I like a hard worker. She really did a lot of work to train to play Black Widow [in the Avengers movies]. She's always pleasant to be around and she's got really good instincts about scenes, she helped me on Chef, she helped me a lot with the script and her character. She's good people."
More: Scarlett Johansson won't plan her own wedding.
More: Scarlett Johansson's pregnancy won't affect Avengers sequel.
