Scarlett Johansson reportedly wants to move back to New York City permanently after tiring of life in Paris, France.
Scarlett Johansson wants to move back to New York City from Paris.
The 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' star has been living mainly in French capital with her French husband Romain Dauriac and their eight-month-old daughter Rose but she is reportedly eager to relocate their family back to the US permanently for her career.
A source close to the 30-year-old actress said: ''Scarlett's dream of living in Paris and keeping her Hollywood career going has turned into a bit of a nightmare.
''She's had a very hard time adjusting to living in France full-time. Romain is adamant on staying in Paris, but Scarlett is homesick, plus she doesn't feel as safe there as she does in the US. Now that she has a baby, safety is her first priority.''
The blonde beauty recently admitted she still likes to cook her favourite American dishes to give herself a ''little taste of home''.
Scarlett is convinced it was her all-American menu that made her husband Romain fall in love with her.
She previously said: ''My husband says he fell in love with me when I made him turkey meatloaf, which is so ridiculous and so American and my husband is French.
''But I think it was probably the American flavour that hooked him.
''I live in Paris so we eat French food a lot but I like to make American food when I'm there for a little taste of home. I know he loves it.''
