Scarlett Johansson always argues with her French husband in English so she can ''win'' the bicker brawl.
The 30-year-old actress, who resides in Paris with her beau and their baby daughter, is on a mission to learn French but has admitted she will only squabble with Romain Dauriac in her native language so she can get her point across better.
She said on 'The Late Show' on Wednesday (09.09.15): ''When you're in a relationship with somebody you want to speak whatever language is easiest to get your ideas out as quickly as possible - so you can argue your point.''
The 'Lucy' star tied the knot with the advertising director, with whom she has 12-month-old daughter Rose, in a romantic ceremony in Montana last October but has since turned her back on the US for the streets of Paris.
She said of her new home: ''There's not a day that goes by that I don't walk down the street and go, 'Wow, this is such an incredibly beautiful place.' ''
Meanwhile, despite having a credible career - including a string of movies under her belt, modelling deals and an impressive singing voice - Scarlett has admitted she's always wanted to try her hand at dermatology.
Asked if there's anything she would have liked to have done in her life, she said: ''I always wanted to be a dermatologist.''
