Russell Crowe would be happy if his children became actors but insists he would never try to force them into following in his footsteps.
Russell Crowe thinks his youngest son wants to be an actor.
The 'Robin Hood' star - who has boys Charles, six, and three-year-old Tennyson with wife Danielle Spencer - insists he would never try to force his children into following in his footsteps but thinks at least one of them may want to.
He said: "Tennyson does have that natural flash in his eyes. If it's in their blood when they grow up then I'm fine for either of my kids to act. I don't want to force them into it or put them in a situation where they feel they have to do it because they think that's how they are going to get daddy's approval."
Singer-and-actress Danielle recently admitted she took a complete career break to look after the children to give them stability while Russell was away filming so much.
She said: "We were moving around so much as a family, I wanted to be the security in my child's life. I didn't want to be flitting off and doing stuff when he was so young. Then I fell pregnant with my second and so that whole process started again. Like a lot of mothers, I had a lot of guilt about the thought of doing my own thing."
