Rod Stewart has confessed he ''couldn't boil an egg'' to save his life and admits his wife Penny Lancaster does all the cooking at their home.
Rod Stewart is so useless at cooking he can't even ''boil an egg''.
The 70-year-old singer's wife Penny Lancaster recently revealed to the world her husband has no kitchen skills but she didn't mind preparing all his meals for him because she thinks cooking robs men of their masculinity.
Now Rod has backed up Penny's claim and confessed he can't prepare even the most simple dishes.
In an interview on 'Good Morning Britain', he admitted: ''I couldn't boil an egg to save my life, I really can't. I'm embarrassed about it but I've never been in a position where I've had to cook. I tend to agree with her (Penny) and I will agree with her because I've got no other option.''
Penny also recently revealed on an episode of UK TV show 'Loose Women' that Rod - whose new album 'Another Country' will be released on October 23 - always dresses up for dinner even if they're just eating at home because he has such ''high standards''.
The 44-year-old blonde - who has sons Alastair, nine, and Aiden, four, with the music legend - said: ''Even at home, every time before dinner he baths or showers, puts on a shirt, smart pants and I might be in my tracksuit and jeans. He just thinks it's important!
''He's a very stylish man and he comes from a certain generation because he is 70 now, and in those days people used to wear hats out and smart suits all the time. He takes pride in himself and that's what I respect.''
