British pop star Robbie Williams was once left stunned when a journalist broke through security at his home - to make sure the singer was still alive.
The Angels hitmaker was regularly seen out clubbing in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and he admits his partying was a secret mission to get a girlfriend.
But when Williams eventually found a partner and decided to spend his nights at home, the media assumed he had died.
He says, "The weirdest thing is the day they (the press) thought I was dead. When I was single I used to go out a lot. Then I got a missus (girlfriend) and stayed in.
"After three weeks of not going out and the paps (paparazzi) not seeing me anywhere the natural conclusion was that I was dead. My A&R man came into the house one day and a journalist had got through the gates and asked him if he could make it official I was dead."
