Rob Kardashian is allegedly ''considering'' going to rehab.
The 28-year-old star, who has been battling depression for some time and has gained more than 100 pounds in the past two years, is reportedly eager to get his life back on track after the death of his friend Chinx last weekend.
A source close to the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, who paid tribute to the rapper after he was killed in a drive by shooting in New York City, said: ''Thankfully, this is something that Rob is considering now, which is huge. He doesn't want to die like Chinx did and we are all hoping that this will be the catalyst to force him into treatment.
''[He] has been trying really hard lately to get his life back together. Harder than he has in a very long time.''
Rob, who lives with his older sister Khloé Kardashian, 30, in Los Angeles, has also turned to his family for support.
The insider told gossip website RadarOnline.com: ''Everyone in his family has been begging him to go and get help for quite some time. They also realise that they have neglected Rob and it is something they are all really trying to change.''
Chinx was a member of the group Coke Boys with French Montana, who has had an on-again, off-again relationship with Khloé since last year.
