The singer has finally spoken out about her much publicised departure from the BBC talent show.
Former judge on ‘The Voice’ and the newest member of the ‘X-Factor’ panel, Rita Ora, has revealed why she jumped ship from the BBC talent show to its ITV rival. But Ora’s reasoning isn't as interesting as we might have hoped. Speaking at the O2 Silver Clef Awards, Ora blamed scheduling for her decision to switch shows, saying it all had nothing to do with her former colleagues on ‘The Voice’.
Rita Ora is the ‘X-Factor’s’ newest judge.
"It's nothing to do with any of the coaches personally. I love them all. But it's definitely something to fit in with my timetable and my schedule,” Ora said, while picking up the Vevo Best Female prize at the awards on Friday.

"It just works for me, you know?" she continued. "And that experience I had with The Voice is surreal.” Ora served just one season on ‘The Voice’s’ judging panel and was previously a guest judge on ‘The X-Factor’ in 2012.
Ora will begin her new ‘X-Factor’ gig on Monday, when the talent show’s auditions begin in Manchester for four days, before moving down to London for seven days starting on July 14th. "I can't wait to get started on The X-Factor,” Ora added.

But as to what viewers can expect from the show now the ‘Poison’ singer is onboard, Ora was keeping tight-lipped. ”You’ll have to watch it - it's going to be great though, it's going to be fun. The most important thing is we find talent and we have fun, that's all it is.”
