Rihanna felt so bad for dropping a policeman's phone, apologizing just wasn't good enough.

While attending Friday night's (May 9th) NBA playoff game between the Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder, the 26 year-old singer accidentally broke L.A. Police Commission President Steve Soboroff's cell phone.

This occurred when the pair, who were sitting next to each other courtside, decided to take a photo together.

But after RiRi took the snap, she dropped the Police Commissioner's phone which caused the screen to crack.

The 'Diamond' singer felt very guilty and wanted to make it up to Soboroff in a big way!

The following Monday (May 12th) Rihanna tweeted, "Sorry I broke your phone @SteveSoboroff," and donated $25,000 to the L.A. Police Foundation, a fund that support fallen police officers and cadets from unprivileged backgrounds.

The Los Angeles Times reports, Soboroff announced the generation donation on Tuesday (May 13th) during a police commissioners meeting.

This isn't the only thing Rihanna has helped donate, the Commissioner asked the pop star to sign the damaged phone to which she obliged and wrote, "Sorry! I (HEART) LAPD," along with her signature. This is so that Soboroof could auction off the phone on eBay and give the raised money to the LAPD's cadet program and the Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation.

The auction is scheduled to close Thursday, but at this current time it stands at $56,000, which is expected to keep increasing.

Only a matter of hours ago, Soboroff tweeted, "UNREAL! Thx to @rihanna my smashed phone at $22,600 on @eBay + her $25K all benefitting @LAPoliceFdtn. 1 day to bid."
