Reese and Renee, who are both long time clients and friends of Nanci, participated in the two-mile long Walk to Defeat ALS in downtown Los Angeles to show their support for their pal, and even wore shirts with "Team Nanci" printed on them.

Also on Team Nanci were Reese's teen daughter Ava Phillippe and husband Jim Toth, Renee's musician boyfriend Doyle Bramhall, and Courteney Cox, who was joined by daughter Coco Arquette.

Reese took to Instagram.com to share a snap of her and Nanci, adding the caption, "My dear friend Nanci was diagnosed with #ALS two years ago. Please help donate to #WalktodefeatALS to support research for this devastating disease. I love you Nanci. We are gonna beat this horrible disease!"

Among the other 2,000 attendees including Miley Cyrus and actresses Angie Harmon, Justine Bateman, and Daphne Zuniga.

Proceeds from the event went towards the ALS Association, an organisation dedicated to finding a treatment and cure for the progressive neuro-degenerative disease.
