The 62-year-old actor took to Instagram on Monday (29Jun15) to share the happy news, posting a snap of Sean with baby girl Marley along with the caption: ''My darling Sean with his baby girl Marley May Cassandra what utter joy to be her grandpa... beautiful life."

The infant is the former James Bond star's third grandchild - teenagers Isabella and Lucas are the children of his late adopted daughter Charlotte, who lost her battle with ovarian cancer in 2013, aged 42.

Son Sean named his newborn after his late mother Cassandra, who died from ovarian cancer in 1991.

It was a big weekend for Pierce and his second wife Keely Shaye Smith - as well as becoming grandparents again, the proud couple watched their teenage son Dylan make his runway debut for Yves Saint Laurent in Paris.

The Die Another Day star also shared photos of his boy on the catwalk.
